compression.Designed to compress large text or database

directory when invalid filename was specified. Now works properly under Windows NT 4.0 and 2000. Now works correctly with Intel Pentium II/III processors (floating point bug in processor). Added option to password-protect archives. Encrypts password and original filename for security. Can now extract from a CDROM to network or HD path. Fixed math bug in compression routines - % is now correct. Stores date/time and attributes of original file and restores them. Use included utilities OLDCONV.EXE and ABCONV2.EXE to convert older v2.0, v2.04, and v2.04 Rev B to new v2.06 archives. Year 2000 Compliant. |

File Backup and Restore v1.2 |
        (~72KB ZIP archive complete with
        FILE_ID.DIZ for BBS) |
This 2-in-1 program backs up files across
multiple disks with or without compression. Since it
encrypts data while compressing you can be assured your data
is safeguarded from snooping employees/friends. Restoring data is a breeze. The program
automatically determines whether the data to be restored
is compressed or not. If the data is compressed, then the
program automatically uncompresses the data. Does not compress by
        default in v1.2. |

        | Archive
        ID v2.0 |
        (~64KB ZIP archive complete with
        FILE_ID.DIZ for BBS) |
Archive ID indentifies the actual type of
an archive based on signature rather then by extension of
the archive. Say you typed REN *.* *.ZIP all lost track
of all the filenames, this program takes a filename
as a parameter and returns the correct type of file so
say FILE.ARJ would turn out to be FILE.ZIP. Archive and file
types supported in this version are: ARC, ARJ, LHA, PAK,
ZIP, ZOO, RAR, UC2, GIF, JPG, PKLite, PKSFX, WWPack,
        ARJSFX, LHASFX, UC2SFX, WinZIP SFX 16 & 32-Bit,
RARSFX, GZip, Microsoft CAB, InstallShield ICOMP .Z, PSD,
BMP, PCX, EPS, PDF, PXR, and IBM & MAC TIFF . |

        | System
        File Save v1.0 |
        (~67KB ZIP archive complete with
        FILE_ID.DIZ for BBS) |
System File Save v1.0, designed to be
placed in your AUTOEXEC.BAT, saves important system files
upon bootup. If you have frequent system crashes, then
this is for you. SFS backs up files into chronological
directories where they can later restored if needed.
Written for Windows 3.1/3.11 and Windows 95/98 users. |

        | The
Better Disk Formatter v1.0 (Real Mode) |
        (~66KB ZIP archive complete with
        FILE_ID.DIZ for BBS) |
The Better Disk Formatter formats disks
for distribution use and rejects the disk format if any
defects with the disk media are encountered. Formats
disks faster than DOS using BIOS routines and has better
        error handling. |
